Background
While in middle school, Lindsey was struck by how easily learning and academic achievement came to some and how elusive it was for others. As a young, fair-minded teen, this smacked her as unjust. These feelings stuck with her, leading her to pursue a degree in learning disabilities and a career supporting a range of academic learners. Working in a variety of roles over the past 28 years including learning specialist, teacher, administrator, and consultant, Lindsey strives to help parents understand their child's learning and development and if academic roadblocks are occurring, create a plan to unravel the challenges.

Lindsey's philosophy in supporting students is grounded in the belief that students will benefit the most from a team approach. Students, parents, teachers, and support professionals each play a critical role. Working collegially will lead to the greatest strides with all eyes focused on helping students develop academic independence.
Lindsey lives with her husband and two labrador retrievers. When not at work, she spends as much time outdoors as possible. She has raised two children, a son and a daughter, who have recently left the nest.
